If you are not interested in diving but want to see the lovely aquamarine spots of Kaş, there are also many alternatives for that. For the first timers in Kaş, I would definitely recommend the Kekova boat trip. You should not miss the opportunity to see the wonderful natural and historical stops of this daily trip, including Üçağız, Sunken City, Simena Ancient City (Kaleköy), Aquarium and Shipyard (Tersane) Bays. Don’t forget to enjoy the scenery from the top of the Castle, buy some souvenir from the local shops of the village which can only be reached by boat and eat the famous natural ice cream made with fresh fruit during the one hour stop in Simena Ancient City. No need to count the calories here, because you will burn them while going up to the Castle. 😉
Another alternative daily boat trip tour would be the one going to the Islands area. In this tour you will be stopping over at Kaş archipelago, Lİmanağzı, Pigeon (Güvercin) Island and Ufakdere Bay. If you passed the Kekova 101 tour, we can sign you up here. 😉 To be more clearly, I think that if you have limited days and you have to choose one of them, then you would want to give the Kekova tour the first priority, because it would be more satisfying in cultural, historical and natural beauty terms.
You can either join the group tours or decide on a private tour for your family or friends. You can get information about the tour boats and the programs from the agents in the harbor. Make sure that you take your snorkels and goggles with you aboard. If you feel like “I should have an Instagram post with a caretta caretta” then don’t forget to take your underwater camera and fancy swimwear with you, too. 😉 Have fun!
